Was a convenient base for trip. One of the advantages - neat rooms ; they included hair dryers, terry robes, and towels. The hotel was in the best possible and exceptionally nice location, close to everything. Again, the venue was very close to Kiki.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the heart of the city. The location was unbeatable, with Istiklal Street just a minute's walk away and Taksim Square close by. The hotel was clean and in good condition, with all the necessary amenities. The staff, especially Monica at the reception, were amazing and provided excellent service. I would definitely visit this hotel again.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Taksim Galatist Hotel
During my recent transit stay in Istanbul, I opted for Taksim Galatist Hotel and found it incredibly convenient. its proximity to the nearest airport, be it 37 km, 32 km or even 31 km away, made it a hassle-free choice for me. the hotel's location, being just a 5-minute walk from Taksim, allowed for easy access to public transportation, making it convenient to explore the city during my short stay. being 3.8 km away from Sultanahmet Tram, it provided great connectivity to historical sites.
As a light sleeper, I experienced some disturbances during my stay. The heavy traffic of pedestrians on the nearby Istiklal Street proved to be quite noisy at times, which might be bothersome for those seeking a peaceful and quiet sleep.

The owner and staff were amazing, friendly, and kind. The hotel was clean, with fast service. The location was excellent, with easy access to restaurants and shops. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had great shower pressure. The staff, especially Sidar, Mahmoom, and Ozgur, were excellent and accommodating.
Almost perfect.

The room I stayed in at Taksim Galatist Hotel was amazing! It had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the hot Istanbul weather. The seating area was so comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. And the flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a great bonus for some late-night entertainment. Plus, the private bathroom with a shower felt luxurious, complete with bathrobes and slippers. As a business traveler, I really appreciated these amenities that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The only downside I found was that some rooms are fitted with a kitchenette, but mine didn't have one. However, I understand that this is my personal preference and others may not be bothered by it.
